Student Rasmus Mäkinen: courses that requires creativity have helped me understand energy and mechanical engineering studies better

Rasmus Mäkinen, a bachelor's student in Energy and Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's programme, feels that physics was already a favourite subject during his upper secondary school studies, which led him to study at Aalto. The best thing about his studies has been the versatility of the courses, and especially the Computer-aided Design course impressed Rasmus so much that he decided to apply for it as a course assistant.

Student Reetta Kanervo: flexibility in studies makes it possible to combine studies, sports hobbies and part-time work

In Reeta's opinion, the best things about student life are internationality, freedom of choice and the fact that there is definitely something for everyone to do alongside their studies. Aalto changes tuition fees and renews scholarship programme for tuition-fee students
