A new tool in Aalto's Office 365

What is Teams?

Teams is a new tool in Aalto's Office 365, and everyone who has registered as a Aalto Office 365 user, has access to it. Teams can be used via a browser, desktop app or phoneapp on Aalto workstations

One to one discussions and discussions with different users

Chatting makes it possible to communicate and collaborate with a specific group when solving a problem. Afterwards it is possible to search through the chat history in that specific group.

Teams' discussions

It is possible to share discussions to other chat groups, if needed.

Arranging meetings

You can arrange a one on one meeting or group discussions without it turning up at a Teams discussion.

Files

A user can add a file to a Teams discussion via the Files option. After that other users can comment on the document. Comments will be shown both in a discussion, and a chosen channel with the document.
