New covers, writing templates and ordering system for doctoral theses
New doctoral thesis covers have been designed by the communication services of Aalto University. The new covers follow the new visual identity of Aalto University. The covers have nine color options which can be chosen freely. The colors are not connected to the school colors. Doctoral student can put 1-2 pictures to the front cover and back cover text to the back cover if they want.
The new writing templates for the doctoral theses are accessible and will contain also the title pages and abstract pages. These uniform title pages and abstract pages must be used in the doctoral theses.
The Aalto University publication platform webservice will be replaced. Unigrafia will be our new service provider. Doctoral students can make orders at the Publication platform until 30 November 2024. Unigrafia’s ordering system will be available from 2 December 2024 onwards. Unigrafia will handle the guidance of the ordering and printing the doctoral theses.
