Young Scientist Forum in Catalysis is arranged annually by the . The event brings together Finnish experts in catalysis and offers a venue for young researchers to present their work, to network, and to meet colleagues from different branches of catalysis in both the academy and the industry.
Program
The day program starts at 9:30 and includes oral and poster presentations, coffee sessions (provided), and lunch (self-paid). A keynote will be delivered by the 2025 EFCATS François Gault Lectureship holder, Dr. Pascal Raybaud from IFPEN Energies Nouvelles, France.
The annual meeting of the Finnish Catalysis Society starts after the ending of the day program at 16:00.
The evening program, including a dinner, poster prize announcement, scientific program, and networking, starts at 19:00.

Registration and payment
Participation to the day program is free of charge. Note that access to the exhibition area at Messukeskus Helsinki where the event takes place also requires (free).
The evening program fee is 45 € per person and paid to the Finnish Catalysis Society upon registration (by February 25, 2026 the latest). The fee includes dinner and participation to the evening scientific and social program. There are limited spots available for the evening program, so make sure to register well in time if you wish to attend.

Contributions and abstract submission
The attendees can contribute a poster or an oral presentation to the day program. Early-career researchers, such as doctoral candidates and postdocs, are prioritized as presenters. Kindly note that only one presentation can be given per person, and due to limited time slots, an oral presentation can't be guaranteed.
Oral presentations
The time slot for oral presentations is 15 minutes including discussions (12 min presentation, 3 min discussion).
Poster presentations
Posters should be A0 in size. A prize will be awarded for the best poster chosen by popular vote!
Abstract submission
The abstract should be max. 1200 characters and briefly describe the background, methodology, and findings of the work you wish to present.
