  Abstract:
The channel of a graphene field-effect transistor (GFET) can be placed in direct contact with biological liquids. This bioelectronic interface is promising for neurosensing and drug discovery applications. I will discuss progress in the development of GFET biosensors and then highlight some contributions from my own lab which include (1) Determining sources of 1/f noise in liquid-gated GFETs, (2) Measurements of molecular binding kinetics with an aptamer-modified GFET, (3) Frequency-division multiplexing of signals from a graphene neurosensor array, (4) Flexible graphene-based devices that can wrap around a single cell.
