Application documents
If you are completing your high school diploma or equivalent in the same spring (early summer) you apply, you do not need to have your graduation certificate / diploma during the application period. At that point, you must upload to the Studyinfo application form a certificate of ongoing studies issued by your school or a copy of your most recent academic transcript.
If you are admitted, you are required to deliver a copy of your final diploma (and its translation into English, Finnish or Swedish) by a given deadline.
For more information, see the Required application documents section of each programme's application instructions webpage.

For this reason, we advise applicants to start preparing the necessary documents well in advance of the deadline.
If your name has changed after your studies and your name in the passport does not match your other documents, an official proof of name change is required. If your personal identity code has changed or it does not show for example on your transcript of records, you need to submit a copy of an official document of your name change issued by a governing body.
