Mikkeli Campus bibliotek

Biblioteket är öppet för studenter, personal och allmänheten i Mikkeli University Consortium-byggnaden på andra sidan gatan från campus. Biblioteket har en specialiserad samling med cirka 2 000 inhemska och utländska publikationer, inklusive böcker, tidskrifter och andra tidningar. Studenterna vid Mikkeli Campus har också full tillgång till och kan använda Aalto University Learning Centres informationsresurser inom Aalto-universitetets utbildnings- och forskningsområden. Det renoverade biblioteket på campus i S:t Michel är funktionellt, trivsamt och trevligt inrett.

Textbooks

Mikkeli Campus Library has a few copies of each textbook for required courses of the BScBA Program, which can be lent out with a library card.

We also have a collection of reading room copies of the textbooks for required courses. These books can only be read in the library.

Library card and borrowing

Some of the library material is available for loan. The loan periods vary depending on the collection. Borrowing material from the Mikkeli Campus Library collections is free of charge, as long as the material is returned by the due date.

To get our library card, activate your customer information in  by signing in with your Aalto user ID and password.

After activation, you can pick up the library card from the Mikkeli Campus Library during customer service hours.

Interlibrary loans

If we do not have a book you need in the Mikkeli Campus Library, we can order it from other libraries as an interlibrary loan or a copy. You can submit an interlibrary loan request by email to library-mikkeli@aalto.fi.

Information service and information retrieval skills training

Mikkeli Campus Library offers training in information retrieval skills to support learning, teaching and research activities. You can book an individual training session with the librarian by email to library-mikkeli@aalto.fi

Printing and computers

Mikkeli Campus students can print black-and-white prints (A4) in the library for free of charge.

There are a few workstations that are available to all customers. They can be used with user credentials presented by the computer.

E-key

The BScBA students can access the library outside service hours with an e-key on school days from 8 am to 8 pm. The key can be collected from the library without preorder. (You need to prove your identity with a passport or an identity card when picking up the card.)
