COACHING
Coaching is included in the WiT Programme to give you a more solid professional foundation for working in the humanitarian field. It focuses on aspects such as self-leadership, communication, time management, and generally provides knowledge and skills for working in challenging conditions.
FUTURES STUDIES
Futures studies in this programme serves as a framework for exploring potential future scenarios, analysing trends, and developing strategies. This theme helps you to recognises that our decisions and actions today shape the trajectory of tomorrow, and it aims to equip you with the methods and tools to envision and plan for a range of possible futures.
RESILIENCE THINKING
Resilience thinking deals with understanding and dealing with complex and interconnected crises by adopting system thinking approach that emphasises adaptability, learning, and transformation. This theme helps you to recognises that our societies are characterised by uncertainty, change, and interconnections, and it seeks to equip you with the tools and perspectives needed to navigate and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future.
SYSTEMS/RESILIENCE THINKING
Systems thinking is an approach that enables you to evaluate complex situations holistically. By using systems thinking, you learn to distinguish general features of dynamics of change processes, as well as understand how individual and cultural mental models are connected to how systems and change are understood. In the WiT Programme, we equip you with systems thinking concepts and tools that support the work in the humanitarian field.
DECOLONISING SUSTAINABILITY
The concept of decolonising sustainability involves critically examining and reshaping the way sustainability is understood, taught, and practiced addressing historical inequalities, power dynamics, and cultural biases that have shaped the field. This theme acknowledges the historical legacies of colonisation, exploitation, and cultural dominance that have influenced traditional sustainability narratives and practices. It seeks to challenge and transform these paradigms to create a more inclusive, equitable, and culturally diverse understanding of sustainability.

Rheological behavior of biopolymer solutions and suspensions
Traditional and novel solvent systems are explored to dissolve various biopolymers and non-polymeric constituents. The solutions or suspensions are characterized by a comprehensive set of rheological tools (shear, capillary and extensional rheometers).
