A feel-good event in Alvar Aalto Park

On Wednesday, April 9th, from 11 am to 2 pm, a feel-good event will be held during students' mental health week. Welcome!

On Wednesday, April 9th, from 11 am to 2 pm, a feel-good event will be held during students' mental health week. The event, organized by AYY, will feature alpacas, representatives from student organizations, and student wellbeing specialists at Aalto University. Starting Point of Wellbeing will also be present – come and talk with study psychologists, study counselors, Aalto chaplains, and YTHS, and enjoy the refreshments.

Starting Point of Wellbeing

The Starting Point of Wellbeing offers students easy access to counselling and advice on matters of well-being and study ability. The services available to you include drop-in (no reservation) advising/counselling sessions, peer support groups, and online materials. You can also make an appointment to receive individual counselling.

In this session, Dr. Sirpa Manninen, expert on workplace ostracism and social dynamics in organizations, will explain how subtle exclusionary behaviors emerge, what consequences they have for employees and teams, and how organizations can build more inclusive and psychologically safe environments.
