New laser therapy seeks to halt the progression of age-related vision loss
The Maculaser heat treatment heats the back of the eye with a near-infrared laser while precisely controlling the temperature during the treatment. The goal is to treat age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in an individualised, safe and effective manner.
