Student Rasmus Mäkinen: courses that requires creativity have helped me understand energy and mechanical engineering studies better
Rasmus Mäkinen, a bachelor's student in Energy and Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's programme, feels that physics was already a favourite subject during his upper secondary school studies, which led him to study at Aalto. The best thing about his studies has been the versatility of the courses, and especially the Computer-aided Design course impressed Rasmus so much that he decided to apply for it as a course assistant.

Student Reetta Kanervo: flexibility in studies makes it possible to combine studies, sports hobbies and part-time work
In Reeta's opinion, the best things about student life are internationality, freedom of choice and the fact that there is definitely something for everyone to do alongside their studies. For example, she has completed part of her studies abroad as individual summer courses, been a member of the board of a riding team and participated in a scuba diving course.

Student Olivia Matilainen: I have always been interested in urban buildings from both architectural and technical perspectives
Olivia's talent in mathematical science subjects and natural creativity have been useful in her studies – in the Bachelor's Programme in Real Estate Economics and Geoinformatics, she gets to combine both architecture and engineering perspectives. Olivia has known since her first major course that the program was the perfect choice for her.
