Mariina Tikka, who is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, started her studies in autumn 2020. For her major, Mariina chose bioproducts (biotuotteet in Finnish), which is one of the three options in the School of Chemical Engineering Finnish Bachelor's programme. Interested in natural sciences, especially biology, Mariina feels that she has found her place in the field of chemical engineering.

Aalto SCI: Using survey results in learning and teaching
In 2021, three surveys were conducted in Aalto University gathering information about students' and teachers' experiences during the pandemic. AllWell? 2021 study well-being survey collected information from students about their well-being, teachers had their own survey about distance teaching and the guilds in the School of Science aimed their survey about distance learning to students*. This text addresses some important themes based on the results of the surveys.
