From a cabin crew member to a chemical engineer

Mariina Tikka, who is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, started her studies in autumn 2020. For her major, Mariina chose bioproducts (biotuotteet in Finnish), which is one of the three options in the School of Chemical Engineering Finnish Bachelor's programme. Interested in natural sciences, especially biology, Mariina feels that she has found her place in the field of chemical engineering.

Get ready for the 5th Unite! Dialogue

Unite! is a European University Alliance of Aalto University and 6 other high-level European technical universities. Every six months, staff and students from the seven universities meet for a dialogue and cooperate around the various themes and activities of Unite!. The 5th Dialogue is organized by the Royal Institute of Technology KTH in two parts - online in March and onsite in June.
