Finnish researchers look at noisy quantum computer
Researchers from CSC – IT center for science, Aalto University and Åbo Akademi and their collaborators from Boston University in the USA have for the first time demonstrated how the noise impacts on quantum computing in a systematic way. The results are published in the prestigious journal Physical Review Letters.

The Academy of Finland’s April call includes funding for Antarctic research and ICT-related research as well as a roadmap call for research infrastructures. Applications are also invited in a follow-up call for consortia that have been funded in the Academy Programme Health from Science. The call is open 1.-29.4.2020. The roadmap call for national research infrastructures is open until 27 May, but the Aalto internal deadline is on 10 March.
