Alumni Ambassador Miikka Huhta: The Aalto University Mentoring Programme benefited me a lot

Our Alumni Ambassador Juha Aarvala has been working in the field of medicine for over 20 years. He shared his career story with us and gave some advice for the current students: 鈥淵our activity during the studies counts a lot, in addition to the networks and being resilient. Alumni Ambassador Elvira Vainio: Your major subject does not have to define your future path
鈥滻t is never too late to study more and try new things 鈥 I am a good example of that! I studied logistics, but in the working life I realized that I鈥檓 more interested in both business and human resources, and so I ended up doing what I do today鈥, says our alumna Elvira Vainio, who worked as a HRD manager at Veikkaus from 2017 to 2019.

Alumnus Niklas Karvonen: Working abroad is about the balance between my own doing, my values and different working methods in a specific country
Several different experiences and occasions from Aalto University have affected the employment of the School of Business alumnus Niklas Karvonen, who worked as a Business Design Manager at 16Lab in Tokyo in 2018-2019.
Currently Karvonen is working at a Tokyo-based coding bootcamp Code Chrysalis as a Marketing and Community Lead (2020).
