When I moved here to study, I ended up living in a large flat together with other students in Kauniainen. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages to living in a commune.

I study at the School of Business but I completed some of my studies at the School of Arts, Design and Architecture. As studying at Aalto BIZ is rather straightforward, ARTS felt so different in the beginning that it was downright annoying.

Riku Rantala & Tunna Milonoff
Tunna and I held a lecture at Aalto University to encourage students to take part in an exchange at a foreign university. The thing I regret the most with regard to my studies is that I never took part in a student exchange.

I bought a used car for €550 yesterday. Of course, we all had to come and see it over a cup of morning coffee straight away.

Jiaying Lu and Ilario Toniello
We already got to know each other before arriving in Finland via a Facebook group created by Aalto University for the exchange students. We quickly became friends.

Jukka Helle
I am very enthusiastic about combining art and science. We have for example created expressionist works of art using an industrial robot built in our lab.
