Certificate in Advanced LCA Simulation

The process industry is key to achieving the EU’s climate neutrality goals. To support this transition, the Certificate in Advanced LCA Simulation upskilling program helps professionals master Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with practical tools and expert guidance.
Designed for those with a technical background—especially in chemical engineering, metallurgy, environmental engineering, or material science—the program offers hands-on training with commercial LCA and thermodynamics tools, focusing on circular solutions for the process industry.
You can register for the full certificate or take any of the three modules as standalone courses, depending on your needs. The first module, Sustainable Process Industry with Process Model Based LCA, starts in September 2025.
This program is developed together with Aalto University, Metso, Université de Bordeaux, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, TU Bergakademie Freiberg, and Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development.
