School of Business awarded the Courses and the Teachers of the Year
Selecting the Courses and the Teachers of the Year started a new tradition last year. The tradition, which highlights the high quality and ever developing teaching at the School of Business, continues this year.
Teaching is a very important means of creating societal impact since knowledge in business and economics is transferred to the society through teaching and students.
'We want to emphasize the central role of teaching at our school by selecting the Courses and the Teachers of the Year from each study programme,' says Timo Saarinen, Associate Dean for teaching and learning. 'At the School of Business we are happy to have many teachers who are very eager to develop and renew their teaching.'
The Courses and the Teachers of the Year 2019 we selected among the candidates nominated by the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, and the teachers were rewarded with diplomas.
