The School of Business offers altogether twelve exciting English-taught Master's programmes to choose from. You can choose a management programme, such as Global Management (including CEMS MIM) or People Management and Organizational Development, or a specialist programme, such as Business Analytics, Marketing, or Finance. We also offer multidisciplinary programmes, in which students from our university's three fields (business & economics, science & technology and arts & design), study together.
And in 2024, we will launch a totally new master's programme called Sustainable Entrepreneurship!

The Master’s Programme in Accounting prepares students for producing and using financial and non-financial information to control and manage companies. Accounting, whether financial accounting or management accounting, is at the heart of every business and a critical part of planning and decision-making in companies. Accounting graduates possess invaluable and highly universal know-how for succeeding in different organisations across all industries and continents.
Studying in the Master’s Programme in Business Analytics gives students a unique combination of skills in leadership, business, and technology. Programme graduates are future leaders of the digital and sustainable era. The programme provides students with in-depth knowledge in data-based decision-making and analytics and allows them to specialise in different business domains.
The Creative Sustainability (CS) programme provides students with the skills and knowledge to address pressing global sustainability challenges through business. Students with different backgrounds are united by the creative solutions, hands-on methodologies and shared values that characterise the programme. Graduates are well-prepared for leadership positions that require harnessing business understanding to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Economics programme prepares students to structure and understand the world through in-depth economic expertise and strong analytical skills, combined with computation and data processing skills. It is meant for students who are fascinated by complex challenges such as climate change, inequality and innovation, and want to address these challenges in an analytical manner. Students have the unique opportunity to be part of Helsinki Graduate School of Economics, formed by Aalto University, Hanken School of Economics, and University of Helsinki, that aims to train the future generation of world-class economists.

The Master’s programme in Global Management prepares students to operate responsibly and successfully in influential decision-maker positions in a globalized environment. The programme develops students’ knowledge and skills in strategy, business development, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding. The programme incorporates CEMS Master’s in International Management.
Master's Programme in Information and Service Management is the most tech-savvy programme at the Aalto University School of Business. The ISM programme shapes students into future leaders of the digital era with a unique combination of leadership, business and technology. ISM provides students with in-depth expertise in developing, managing and leading data-heavy businesses, making graduates highly sought after in the job market.
IDBM is a pioneering and renowned study programme that truly embodies the vision of Aalto by integrating design and technology with global business development. Through transdisciplinary teamwork and real-life business challenges provided by our prominent industry partners, the programme prepares students as the next generation of creative professionals. IDBM is uniquely positioned as the only programme offered in all six schools of Aalto, allowing programme graduates to earn a Master’s degree in either business, design or technology.

The Master’s Programme in People Management and Organizational Development

The programme further offers students a unique chance to complete a double degree programme with the University of Queensland (AU) or University of South Carolina (US). Strategic Management in a Changing World is a unique Master’s programme that teaches students how to develop effective strategy in a rapidly changing world. Graduates are analytical decision-makers who can identify valuable business opportunities by evaluating of complex global megatrends such as sustainability, digitalization, and globalization. To action these new opportunities, the programme teaches students how to bring an entrepreneurial mindset into their organizations.
