Audit of top athlete friendly university

The aim of the audit carried out by the Finnish Olympic Committee is to support Aalto University in identifying the strengths, good practices and areas for development of its operations, thus creating the conditions for the smooth completion of studies by students pursuing a dual career and the continuous development of its operations.
""

The aim of the quality model of the Finnish Olympic Committee is to improve the conditions for top and professional athletes to complete university studies during their sports careers. In the audit of top-level athlete-friendly university, the assessment is based on the principle of enhancement-led evaluation. The audit process follows the Karvi (National Education Evaluation Centre) audit model where applicable, and only targets the teaching and learning area and is therefore also lighter in implementation.

In the enhancement-led audit inclusiveness and interactivity are central. In organised discussions, interviews and self-assessment workshop work, our goal is to identify the different stages of the study path and to create and develop common practices to facilitate the completion of studies by students pursuing a dual career.
