Teaching Competence Assessment Committee (TCAC) at the School of Science

The Teaching Competence Assessment Committee (TCAC, aka SCITEC), evaluates the teaching competence of applicants for recruitments and later for advancements in academic career systems; Tenure and Lecturer Tracks.

The evaluation is based on the teaching portfolio, teaching demonstration and interview. An evaluation statement, identifying teaching strengths and areas for development, is given to the department's leadership and the individual being recruited or advanced.
