ABL in Marsio

In the Marsio, there are two additional measurement rooms (Laurel and Hardy) for ABL. The bigger room (Hardy) with 25 square meters, is dedicated for multi-person measurements, enabling 6+ persons in the measurement room simultaneously. Other, smaller light-shielded room (Laurel), is mainly for single person measurements, especially intended for EEG and remote eye tracking studies.

Measurement rooms in the Marsio are part of the Aalto Behavioral Laboratory and can be booked from the anitime.aalto.fi reservation calendar. The control room is also included in book reservation. There is a spesific control room dedicated for each measurement room. Same rules and forms apply to the rooms "Laurel" and "Hardy" as to other ABL measurement rooms. There is a versitile audio and video systems in both rooms separately, but the A/V system allow also controlling everything from a single control room as well.

All ABL/MAGICS devices can be used in these rooms, including eye tracking glasses, mobile EEG, thermal cameras and video cameras for facial expression detection. All videos and devices can be synchronized with the stimulus system.

ABL offers various different devices, including EEG, Eye Trackers, Thermal camera, Thermal Stimulator, VR Headset, and Data Logger for biosignals (EMG, ECG, GSR).
