AMI Centre facilities - Stimulus systems
Many of the stimulus systems used in AMI Centre are custom-built by AMI personnel and users. Here you can find more information on the various stimulus systems used for fMRI research.
Stimulus computer
Our stimulus PC is a custom build. Main specifications and stimulus software are:

Auditory system
AMI Centre has three different auditory systems:
- KAR ADU ()
- Sensimetrics ()
- SOUNDPixx ()
Other equipment used in auditory stimulation:
- Stimulus PC
- RME UFX
- Low pass filter (KAR ADU)
- Crown CT8150 power amplifier
Visual system
Equipment used in visual signal transmission and projection are:
- Stimulus PC
- Back projection screen (2D/3D)
- 3D polarizer (when needed)
