Math Academy

Math Academy is back! If you are passionate about solving math problems and want to meet mathematicians, this is the place for you. Math Academy offers higher secondary school competitive mathematics coaching and researcher meetings at Aalto University. Lower secondary school students interested in math are also very welcome!
Math Academy

Together, we reflect on the tasks of the math competitions and the theory behind them, and about once a month there is a guest mathematician involved to introduce you to interesting mathematical questions.

The Mathematics Academy does not require participation in or, in particular, success in mathematics competitions, but pure interest in mathematics may be included.

The teachers responsible for competitive mathematics are Ville Saarikivi from Otaniemen lukio and Heikki Pokela from Tapiolan lukio. The visiting mathematicians are researchers from Aalto University.

Additional information and excercises are available on the Finnish-language page.
