Nordic Five Tech Doctoral School in Battery Technology

The Nordic Five Tech (N5T) Alliance is a strategic partnership between the five leading technical universities in the Nordic region: Aalto University (Finland), Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), Technical University of Denmark (Denmark), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway). Renowned for their expertise and excellence in engineering education, research, and innovation, each university brings unique strengths to the Alliance and its doctoral school in battery studies.

Focus Areas:
The focus areas within doctoral level research at the N5T Universities were determined and found to be highly complementary as well as partially overlapping. It was agreed that each N5T university gets a specific area responsibility and focus within the N5T Battery Labs but the research within the N5T Doctoral School in Battery Technology is not limited to these focus areas:

•    N5T Battery Recycling lab (Aalto)
•    N5T Battery Materials lab (Chalmers)
•    N5T Battery Modelling lab, N5T PowerLabDK (DTU)
•    N5T Battery Electrochemistry lab (KTH)
•    N5T Battery Production lab (NTNU)
