In my doctoral thesis I aim to define and develop practical factors and conditions to enable wider circularity in contemporary European building design. The development of these strategies are approached through data collected from multiple realized reuse projects in Europe, evaluation and development of DfD assessment methodology for LCA, and analysis of novel practical building reuse knowledge through an ongoing building reuse pilot project Closing Loops in Helsinki.
