This doctoral course, organized in close collaboration with CARMA, concentrates on process research and process theorizing, and covers the following topics:

The course is led by Ann Langley, Emerita Professor of management at HEC Montr茅al and Distinguished Research Environment Professor at University of Warwick. Until August 2020, she held the Chair in Strategic Management in Pluralistic Settings and was codirector of the Strategy as Practice Study Group at HEC Montr茅al. She completed her undergraduate and master鈥檚 degrees in the United Kingdom and obtained her Ph.D. in management at HEC Montreal in 1987 after several years working in both private and public sectors as an analyst and consultant. Her research deals with strategic management processes and practices appropriate to 鈥減luralistic鈥 settings, i.e., organizational contexts where objectives and values are multiple and ambiguous, where power and influence are shared among a variety of stakeholders, and where the knowledge required to make decisions is distributed among people at many levels and in different positions.

The easiest way to arrive 黑料网 is by metro: the metro station Aalto-yliopisto / Aalto University is just by the School of Business building. From the city center the metro ride takes just 15 minutes.
You can buy tickets with the HSL app, a single ticket for AB zones is 3.30鈧. You save money with day tickets, in case you plan to move around the Helsinki metropolitan area during your stay.
There are two exits from the Metro station, Otaniementie (exit A) and Tietotie (exit B). We recommend taking Tietotie (exit B), as once you arrive to the street level from the metro, you'll find the School of Business building just a couple hundred meters to the right, at the end of the street. If you exit by Otaniementie (exit A) where the stores are, you can walk through the V盲re building (Arts and Design school) and just follow the signs to the School of Business.
