Quantum Strategy: The path to making quantum technology Finland’s next success story

Quantum technologies have disruptive potential on both the national and global scale. Finland has recently unveiled its national strategy towards a brighter future enabled by these technologies, and this event will describe some important steps along the path to quantum supremacy.

Picture a future where Finland owns the entire value chain of its quantum tech superiority — where new, low-carbon innovations are enabled by quantum computation, for example, and are being developed by Finnish startups using Finnish quantum computers. Beyond computation, these technologies also hold immense promise in the domains of high-precision sensing and telecommunications.

The Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment released its national in April. The strategy sets a path forward for enabling the success of the sector, including education and training, financing and international cooperation.

This talk aims to introduce the topic of quantum technology and its relevance to Finnish society for all interested parties.

Detailed programme and registration will be published soon.
