Diploma team
This pilot initiative aims to make diploma projects more manageable by linking them to previous coursework and aligning them with ongoing architectural research directions. Such integration allows students to leverage existing research while potentially advancing these themes.
The approach is designed to streamline the workflow, help students adhere to their schedules, and enhance their overall well-being. By fostering collaboration and deeper engagement with research topics, this initiative seeks to reduce the sense of isolation and improve the overall educational experience.
The first project was completed in collaboration with the City of Kouvola during 2024-2025, and the next one started with the City of Lohja in 2025. In 2025–26, we will collaborate with ATT (Housing Production, City of Helsinki). Upcoming projects will be announced to students via the student email list.
