Project DIAMANT develops and commercializes ultralight, flexible metasurface antennas applicable for aerospace and defence. Based on a novel thin-membrane architecture, the technology enables precise radiation control with minimal weight and volume.

Current antennas are heavy, energy-consuming, and expensive, limiting performance in small satellites, drones, and other light uncrewed platforms. DIAMANT’s metasurface technology is lightweight, energy-efficient, operates across multiple bands, and delivers high gain. It is highly flexible, conforming to any surface, and compatible with scalable manufacturing, making it easy and affordable to produce.

DIAMANT enables resilient, critical communications for defence and governmental use. This supports the development of European sovereignty and unlocks new capabilities in communication and radar applications.
