New materials for fuel cells

Researchers from Aalto University and Northeastern University (China) have demonstrated a solid oxide fuel cell based on a single-oxide SrTiO2 electrolyte. A high power density of 620 mW per cm2 with hydrogen as fuel was obtained. The electrolyte forms a mixed proton and oxygen ion conductor with a core-shell structure

Teaching Lab 鈥 the booster of future-proof education 鈥 was initially launched at the end of November 2018. After that, a lot of progress has been made! The next step is to create a good practices section to our webpage for internal Aalto resources and best practices supporting future-proof education. We also call for next practice pilot ideas from the Aalto community on integrating work-life capabilities into teaching and learning. We support courses and programs that aim to enhance students鈥 work-life skills up to 10,000 euro funding.
