The Teaching Forum of the School of Engineering on 10 May 2021 presented ideas and tips that support well-being. The ideas raised by the themes of the day were also discussed together.

Senior University Lecturer Kirsi Peltonen was able to give one empowering face-to-face lecture last autumn, and now she is mainly teaching remotely from Otaniemi. She finds interactions based on remote connections to be incredibly challenging.

Aalto ENG: Teachers' Virtual Coffee event called for visual, easy-to-adopt support material to assist in the adoption of the service platform reform
The virtual coffee event at the School of Engineering mapped teachers' thoughts, expectations and support wishes related to the upcoming system reform implemented during the summer. The event was held on April 27, 2021.

Teacher services conducted a survey in spring 2020 on the transition to distance teaching. The focus of the spring 2021 survey is being planned. By participating, you can contribute to the implementation of this survey.

Beryl Pittman, Senior Lecturer at the Department of English in North Carolina State University, regards teaching in the BScBA Program as the #1 highlight of her career. In addition to her teaching work at our Mikkeli Campus and her home university, Pittman has been heavily involved with entrepreneurship at NC State, presenting at conferences, and teaching with global initiative programs at NC State.
