The portrait of Anna Valtonen, former Dean of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture at Aalto University, was unveiled at Aalto University's 10th anniversary on 8 January. The portrait was created by the artist, Doctor of Art Maija Tammi.

Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence FCAI will host one of the new European units of top AI research, as the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems will establish one of its first units in Finland.
