Over 鈧2 million awarded to the University of Helsinki and Aalto University for research identifying mechanisms of depression
A new collaborative project in neuroscience, which is being carried out by the University of Helsinki and Aalto University and which originates in the Multi-Channel Psych programme of the Wellcome Leap organisation, has received a grant of over 鈧2 million for a period of three years.

Professor Jose Lado was awarded early career prize. The award recognizes the talents of exceptional young researchers who are making a significant contribution to their respective field of research. The runner-up prize was awarded to Prof. Lado by Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft and Institute of Physics through New Journal of Physics (NJP).
