A record number of graduates from the School of Chemical Engineering

In 2023, 199 students graduated with a Master of Science in Technology degree from Aalto University's School of Chemical Engineering. This is the highest number in the school's history. The school has seen a sharp increase in admissions over the past few years: Compared to 2019, the number of students has increased by almost 30%. About half of the students are women and almost a quarter have on international background.

Music can activate our autonomic nervous system and even send shivers down your spine. A new study shows how emotional music evokes these bodily sensations and how the response is similar across cultures.
