Students at Aalto University can apply to University of Helsinki’s Swedish-language Nightingale mentoring programme that brings together higher education students and children who are between the ages of 9 and 12 and who live in Helsinki.

MyStudies upgraded: Student services now easier to find
The MyStudies front end has been renovated to improve the student experience, making use of the service more straightforward and key services easier to find. At the same time, MyStudies’ visual identity was modified to match that of Aalto’s other digital services.

Aalto University, The University of Helsinki, the University of the Arts Helsinki and Hanken School of Economics have launched a new network to promote language learning.

Overview of the 2026 restaurant survey results
Respondents’ overall satisfaction with the services of campus student and staff restaurants remains at a good level, with no significant changes in the results compared to last year.
The process for travel grant applications related to study trips will change as of 24 August 2026
The study trip must be agreed with the course’s responsible teacher before applying for a grant.
