About the minor
Understanding how markets and public policy interact is crucial for decision-makers in business and government. For example, economic analysis plays a crucial role in mitigating climate change and reducing inequality, creating and regulating markets, and building efficient organizations and cities. In this minor, students will learn the basics of economic analysis and empirical methods with a particular focus on how to apply these tools and intuitions to business and policy decisions. These skills and insights are particularly useful to future consultants, analysts, and private and public sector managers.
