Is 5G already in use? How does it benefit me? How can 5G increase the data transfer rate by at least ten times? What kinds of technological leaps can we expect? If you find yourself thinking about these questions, you are welcome to join our public lecture series Internet Forum to hear more about the topic. A total of seven lectures cover the potential of 5G and what it means to businesses, society and users.

The lecture series is open to everyone and you can join the online broadcast from wherever is most convenient for you. All lectures can also be viewed as a recording afterwards.

5G benefits everyone

One of the main objectives of the series of lectures is to share skills and get professionals from different fields to discuss the possibilities of 5G.

‘Our most important task is to ensure that society and companies have sufficient expertise and the latest, researched knowledge. Everyone must assume responsibility in the digital world, including when 5G becomes more common’, says Jarno Limnéll, Professor of Practice, Cyber Security, at Aalto University.

‘This year, the lecture series is also part of the FITech network, which offers free university courses for adult students and degree students. In addition to students who need the study credits, anyone generally interested in the topic is welcome to join the lectures’, he adds.

The programme for the lecture series and later also the recordings of the lectures can be viewed in their entirety at event page.

You are welcome to join!
