A course by AVP and Aalto University Summer School trains better leaders over the summer

Scale-Up Leadership is an interactive and fast-paced graduate-level course worth 6 ECTS, focusing on leadership in the growth stage of an organisation. A heavy focus will be on addressing the domain of interaction and communication during the scale-up phase of a venture or enterprise: managing the growing team and leading the culture of the organization. The course includes two intensive weeks on campus as well as pre-and post-assignments.
Networking and exchanging experiences with peers from the industry is a central part of the course. By working on challenges in multinational teams students will gain valuable experience of multidisciplinary teamwork and build their international communication skills while sharing valuable knowledge from personal experiences with each other.

A fun social experience is an essential part of summer school. We believe that enjoying the Finnish summer is the best way to get the most out of intense academic experiences and challenging coursework. Visitors can enjoy the surrounding nature in full bloom, take advantage of the countless hours of daylight and experience the vibrant Helsinki city life.
