Aalto’s Award-Winning Team

This year, Dr Minna Söderqvist and the Aalto Unite! Doctoral Education Team, composed of Katri Eeva, Tiina Kotti, Kitta Peura, Essi Viitanen, and colleagues from Aalto Doctoral Education Services, received recognition for their sustained commitment to strengthening doctoral education and mobility within Unite!.

Driving Doctoral Collaboration Across Europe

Aalto's Unite! Doctoral Education team, together with Aalto Doctoral Education Services, have made a significant, long-term impact by championing increased mobility opportunities for Aalto’s and partner universities’ doctoral students within the Unite! alliance.

Dr Söderqvist and her team have played a central role in organising the participation of Aalto’s doctoral students and lecturers in the Unite! Research School. Additionally, they have established a Unite! cotutelle framework agreement among the nine partner universities, a major step towards deepening collaboration in joint doctoral supervision and training.

Congratulations to Minna Söderqvist and the Aalto Doctoral Education Services team for this well-deserved recognition!
