Aalto spinoff BlueFors awarded for their international success

BlueFors Cryogenics is the world’s leading manufacturer of ‘dry’ ultra-low temperature refrigerators with promising growth prospects in the supply chain of quantum computers.

BlueFors Cryogenics Ltd. founded in 2007 by two enthusiastic researchers, Rob Blaauwgeers and Pieter Vorselman has received the Internationalisation Award of the President of the Republic. Originated from the research work done at the Low Temperature Laboratory of the then Helsinki University of Technology (today Aalto University), the company has grown to be the world’s leading manufacturer of ‘dry’ ultra-low temperature refrigerators with promising growth prospects in the supply chain of quantum computers.
