Business & economics at Aalto jumped to 66th place in the global THE ranking

Aalto University’s business & economics rose to 66th place worldwide (last year 84th) in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject. In computer science, Aalto ranked 88th (last year 86th). In the listings for engineering and for arts & humanities, Aalto kept last year’s place, in the range 101–125. 

Times Higher Education is one of the world's most influential university rankings. It measures the performance of universities with 18 indicators in the areas of international outlook, research quality, citations, teaching and industry partnerships and patents..

Subject-specific rankings are more relevant ºÚÁÏÍø University than the general rankings, as Aalto specialises in technology, business and arts. Depending on the calculation method, there are approximately 17 000–22 000 universities in the world.
