Call for Papers: Animals, Plants, Bryophytes, Lichen and Fungi in Contemporary Art and Research

Research in Arts and Education journal welcomes manuscripts for the February 2022 Issue.

The special issue of Research in Arts and Education focuses on exploring research with species other than humans. Diverse approaches to research and art are welcomed, including artistic research, theoretical and philosophical texts, art historical, postqualitative research, research working with art & science, educational and arts-based research. 

Two main themes are identified, although submissions are not limited to the identified themes of A) research with horses and other animals, and B) research on plants, lichen, bryophytes, and fungi in contemporary art.
