Aalto University and the Academy of Technology TAF are organizing the Millennium Youth Prize competition for young innovators of the age of 19 and younger for the third time.

In November, Aalto University's professors Merja Penttilä, Risto Rajala and Jan Holmström presented three different global sustainable development challenges to young people. The competition presents new feasible solutions to these challenges.

A workshop will be held for participants in February, where the three professors will introduce competitors to the themes of the challenges. The deadline for entries will be in April and the finals will be held in May 2021. The best solutions will be awarded cash prizes.
