Development of digitalisation motivates research in the field

Technologies that enable digitalisation will be on show in Helsinki in August.

Cybersecurity, big data, cloud computing, industrial internet, 5G, artificial intelligence and machine learning will be the key words at the scientific IEEE conference hosted by Aalto University in Helsinki between 21 and 23 August. Three different conferences will be held jointly in the event.

Hundreds of researchers in the field of digitalisation from across the world are expected to attend the conference to present their most recent research.

‘All of the themes in the conference are topical and contribute to the development of digitalisation. The techniques already exist and develop at an extremely fast rate as the standard of research rises due to a strong contribution from Asian countries, too,’ says Professor Raimo Kantola from Aalto University.

Aalto University is involved in research work in many areas of digitalisation and was thus selected to host the conference. In addition ºÚÁÏÍø University, Xidian University from China also hosts the event.
