EIT Digital 2019 Call for Proposals
Proposals will be evaluated during June 2018. Impact and Sustainability will be important criteria.
Each activity is an entrepreneurial open innovation project between a few of EIT Digital's partners to typically turn research results into products targeted at a customer segment. In an effort to bring more impact, an Innovation Activity proposal output belongs to one of three distinct types:
- they aim at creating a startup/a spinoff,
- they aim at launching a product or service
- they aim at transferring a game-changing technology to reach the market.
A DRAFT Proposal Tool, where you can draft ideas and find partners is available. In the matchmaking tab, you can specify what kind of partners you are looking for: business champion, technology provider, etc.

The tool requires access to EIT Digital Intranet. You can register from here:
Please note that all DRAFT Proposals are, by default, visible to all partners.
Brokerage/Face to Face Workshops will be held at EIT Digital HQ in Brussels during March 26-28.
Aalto University will be represented in the Education Action Line sessions (Professional School, Summer School & Master School) by Prof. Petri Vuorimaa (SCI). The Innovation Action Line sessions (Digital Wellbeing, Digital Industry, Digital Infrastructure, Digital Finance and Digital Cities) are NOT yet represented by Aalto. As only 1 Representative per Partner per Action Line is allowed, kindly notify your interest to represent which Action Line to ingrid.schembri@aalto.fi and petri.vuorimaa@aalto.fi before registering your participation.
Information Sessions about each Action Line in Innovation and Education were held at EIT Digital Helsinki Co-Location Centre (at Aalto University/Open Innovation House) on March 7 & 8.
