Energy Competition is here again -participate, make an impact and win!
Gather a team or work solo, get creative and take part in creating an energy efficient campus for all of us!
On Friday 9th October, Aalto University launched an Energy Efficient and Sustainable Campus Competition in collaboration with Aalto University Student Union (AYY).
The aim of the idea competition is to find and promote existing best practises and uncover novel ideas in the fields of energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction. Our goal is to discover new, innovative and practical solutions all the way from small scale everyday improvements to more ambitious building and infrastructure updates. Be it a personal upgrade in one’s everyday habits or a bold infrastructure improvement concept, we are excited to hear about it! All students, staff and researchers at Aalto University are eligible to participate. The special theme of the Energy Efficient and Sustainable Campus Competition 2015-2016 is smart and resource-wise solutions contributing to use of space in the campus. Aalto University seeks concrete solution proposals to improve the efficiency of space utilization and resources.
The best propositions can receive up to 5 000€ development. The best entry in each category will be awarded!
The deadline for entries is 31th January 2016. The entry submission form opens on Friday 16th October 2015.
