Enrolment for the 2023–2024 academic year
The enrolment period for the 2023–2024 academic year is from 2 May to 1 September 2023.
All students who are studying towards a degree at Aalto University must make a separate annual enrolment for each of their valid rights to study. For detailed instructions on enrolment, see the Student Guide (aalto.fi).
Bachelor’s and master’s degree students who enrol as attending must pay a student healthcare fee to Kela, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland. As no separate billing is sent, you must remember to pay the Kela fee on your own initiative once every term:

Students at Aalto University can apply to University of Helsinki’s Swedish-language Nightingale mentoring programme that brings together higher education students and children who are between the ages of 9 and 12 and who live in Helsinki.

Starting Point of Wellbeing is organizing a two-time peer support workshop series for those who have progressed in their studies more slowly than they hoped, or are returning to their studies after a break. The workshop is multilingual, and we use English as the common language.
