The exhibition is a display of how we work, individually and collectively.

The works of the exhitibion were executed in the Design Exploration and Experimentation course in the  Department of Design. During the course students followed a working pattern based on weekly personal written reflection, group conversations and frequent sharing and feedback sessions.

The students are sharing a series of personal explorations and expressions about their labor. During the past seven weeks they have observed and reflected on what supports individual and collective labor, asked and been asked difficult questions, disrupted the patterns and redefined them. They have come together in classrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and saunas to have conversations about what they do, how and why they do it.

The contributions offered by these moments of sharing, and the following reflection have resulted in a series of works from textile to performance, drawing to installation.

Welcome to the opening on Wednesday 11 April at 18:00–20:00! There will be a musical performance by Mäkelä & Musta Kolibri at 19:00.

Date: 12–23 April 2018

Venue: Beta Space, Otakaari 1 X, Espoo
