Friends Program, Spring 2026

Want to make friends in Finland? If your answer is yes, then the Friends Program is perfect for you! We are looking for both Finnish and international students to join. Our goal is to bring people together because friendship is precious—life is better with friends!

The program includes four group events in total. During the first meeting, we will get to know each other and connect with people who share similar interests. After that, you can arrange smaller group meetings at your convenience between the common gatherings. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, visiting art exhibitions, playing board games, or anything else you enjoy—you decide! 


The Friends Program is organized by Aalto Chaplains Marjaana Faugel and Anu Morikawa, in cooperation with Deacon Anni Rusi from Tapiola Parish. The program is open to everyone, regardless of religion or worldview.

To join, please fill out the registration ! 


Program group meetings:

Thursday, April 9th | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Kick-off Event at the Undergraduate Center Top Lounge (5th floor) – Let’s get to know each other! 
Thursday, April 16th | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Social Games at the Undergraduate Center Top Lounge
Monday, April 27th | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM 
Bowling Night! Sello BowlCircus. 
Saturday, May 9th | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Trip to Seurasaari Outdoor recreation area (weather permitting)
Monday, May 25th | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friends Potluck picnic on Alvari Square (or at the Undergraduate Center Top Lounge depending on the weather).
